At night, traditional dance performances show off Bali’s rich cultural history.
One of the best Hindu temples to visit is the 16th-century Pura Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot means “land in the sea.” This is fitting because the temple sits on a high rock, and it’s surrounded by crashing ocean waves.
If you want to experience something special, nothing compares to watching the sun come up from the top of Mount Batur. But to see it, you’ll have to climb this 1,700-meter-high volcano in the dark! |
